Estate Planning

Bryan’s approach with estate planning begins with many questions and a lot of listening.  He believes in a collaborative approach and understands there is no “one size fits all” or boilerplate plan.  Every family is unique, asset portfolios vary greatly, beneficiaries can be spouses, children, friends, siblings  and non profit organizations and therefore Bryan will work with you to customize the right documents and are specific to your wishes, desires and needs.  There are many decisions to make with this process and Bryan will ask the necessary questions and have the right conversations to tailor your plan to your wishes and desires.

After a loved one passes

One of the most challenging aspects of life, losing a loved one, often is complicated by all the work there is to do. There are many practical and logistical challenges after the passing of a loved one. Contacting friends and family, coordinating and planning a funeral or memorial service. Grieving and mourning are a process and Bryan understands this and offers compassionate legal counsel regarding the legalities of the probate and estate administration process. But again, Bryan begins such engagements with questions and listening so he can help in a coordinated and efficient manner.

About Bryan

Bryan is a father of 2 daughters, Millie and Cora and has been married to his wife Mary since 2000. Unlike most attorneys, he went to law school for a specific purpose, to practice in the estate planning and administration arenas. Bryan received a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York, a Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University before moving to Salisbury in 2004. Previously he was employed by Horace Mann Insurance Company, and helped public school teachers, staff and administrators plan for retirement. In that career, he saw firsthand the lack of planning families did and wanted to help families better manage one of the inevitabilities of life: death. Almost 70% of Americans pass without a will, oftentimes leaving loved ones, who are mourning a loss.
